Privacy notice
This notice explains how ALTA Services Oy processes personal data submitted with transport bookings and enquiries.

2. Data processed
We process the customer's name, contact details, company and billing details, pickup and delivery addresses, shipment information, references, notes, and the route and price calculated by the server. The form does not request a personal identity code, and this site does not process payment-card details.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Data is used to process, confirm and perform the transport, manage billing and customer service, and prevent misuse. Processing is based on steps needed to enter into and perform a contract and on legal obligations.
4. Retention
Booking and billing data is kept only as long as needed to provide the service, handle possible claims and comply with legal obligations. Unnecessary data is deleted or anonymised.
5. Recipients
Data is processed by ALTA Services Oy and contracted technical service providers needed to operate the service. Stripe processes payment details on its own secure payment page. Twilio and Resend deliver new-order notifications to ALTA Services Oy by SMS and email. The notifications contain only the details needed to process the order. Data is not sold. It is disclosed to authorities only when required by law.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, or object to processing. Send requests to info@altaservices.fi. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority.
7. Security
The booking request is stored on the server. The route and price are recalculated before storage, and the customer's email application is not used as the source of the order details. Access to stored orders is restricted.
8. Website visitor statistics
The website collects cookie-free server-side statistics such as the page opened, visit date and visitor country. To estimate visitor numbers, the server creates a one-way identifier from the IP address, browser identifier and date; this identifier changes daily. The raw IP address is not stored. The data is used only for aggregate website statistics, and the site does not use Microsoft Clarity or other third-party analytics cookies.
