2. Booking and confirmation
A booking submitted on the website is a request. A transport agreement is formed only after ALTA Services Oy has reviewed availability, route and price and sent confirmation. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the submitted information.
3. Price
The calculator provides a preliminary estimate. The final price is confirmed before transport. The confirmed price holds as long as the details supplied by the customer and the transport conditions do not change. The price may be reviewed if the route, address, weight, quantity, waiting time or other details differ; material changes are agreed before additional work.
4. Payment
The customer may select a payment or billing method offered on the website. Cash is paid to the driver when the transport is completed and a receipt is provided. A Stripe payment link is sent after confirmation. Business-customer invoicing is confirmed with the booking. Payment must be made by the agreed due date.
5. Pickup and delivery
The customer must ensure safe access and that the shipment is properly packed, labelled and ready at the agreed time. ALTA plans the order of multiple delivery addresses for an efficient route.
6. Changes and cancellations
A confirmed booking may be cancelled free of charge by 16:00 on the business day before transport by providing the order number. For a later cancellation, only reasonable and necessary costs already incurred may be charged. Work already started, unnecessary driving, waiting or an undisclosed access obstacle may be charged according to actual work.
7. Delays
Estimated times are not guaranteed where delay is caused by traffic, weather, authorities, technical failure or another circumstance beyond our reasonable control. We will communicate material delays as soon as possible.
8. Liability and claims
Any damage or deficiency must be reported promptly and, where possible, documented with photographs. Liability is governed by mandatory law and applicable transport rules. Valuable, fragile or dangerous goods must be disclosed in advance.
9. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy notice for booking fulfilment, communications, invoicing and legal obligations.
10. Governing law
Finnish law applies. Disputes are primarily resolved through negotiation.
